Micho Russell appearing on Tony MacMahon’s program “Bring Down The Lamp” back in 1983 on RTÉ. Micho performs two jigs on the flute: “The Cook In The Kitchen” and “The Yellow Wattle”.
He follows those tune with a song in Irish and English called “Bean Dubh A’ghleanna” (Dark Woman Of The Glen).
This episode of “Bring Down The Lamp” was recorded in Bunratty Folk Centre in Co. Clare and was broadcast on 19 January 1983.
