This family tree was written by Paul Russell, who was a teacher in Liscannor and a first cousin once removed to Micho, Packie and Gussie Russell.
The notes at the top read the following:
The Russell name may have migrated to Clare from the North of Ireland after the siege of Derry in 1689. Austin Rua Russell settled in Kilkee by the late 1700’s.
The Flanagans came to Clare from Roscommon.
Austin Rua Russell married Mary Sussy.
